- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Utilize technical equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults within vehicles accurately.
- Assist drivers with vehicle maintenance tasks, including fluid checks and replacing worn parts when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed logs of all roadside assistance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to protect yourself, motorists, and other road users during roadside operations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems or vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
- Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic repair techniques is essential.
