VISION OF THE ROLE:
The Office Admin helps clients every day with basic administrative and reception duties as well as with claim reporting and follow-up. The Office Admin has many opportunities to show clients how much C&W cares for them in the way we take care of small and large problems. Additionally, the Office Admin has numerous opportunities to help with administrative tasks and projects within the agency. As a career path, an Office Admin has an opportunity to take on increasingly more strategic client tasks and eventually become a licensed Account Manager if they continue to learn and perform well.

MAJOR PRIORITIES OR ACTIONS:
- Learn and master the phone system as well as the agency management system for basic client service requests
- Learn claim processes and procedures and study outstanding claims to understand overall process
- Master Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other applications to help increase organization and speed
- With leadership direction, identify administrative projects that can be worked with free time

ROUTINES OF THE ROLE:
- Download and review documents from carriers to send them to the appropriate person
- Check suspensed tasks daily to update and follow-up as needed
- Process incoming mail, email and faxes
- Answer agency phone calls, assess questions and assist or transfer as needed
- Monitor and respond to claim related emails and requests
- Take claim related phone calls to collect information and submit loss notices
- Follow-up with carrier and insured on outstanding claims
- Track and document all claim payments and claim reserve changes
- Ensure agency management system is up to date and accurate

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Administrative or customer service experience
- Business degree a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to pursue a path for professional development
