JOB DESCRIPTION: DENTAL RECEPTIONIST
For 30 years, the not-for-profit Charlottesville Free Clinic has been an open door to free, high-quality healthcare for thousands of uninsured and underinsured members of our community. We fill a unique position within Virginia’s health safety net by eliminating the barriers to medical, mental health and dental services for people who would otherwise have nowhere to go for care.
We are seeking a driven, team-oriented Front Desk employee for our dental clinic to oversee all administrative operations. Your responsibilities will include reception, scheduling, verifying eligibility, updating patient information, registering new patients, and you will maintain relationships with all who volunteer at the Free Clinic. To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, highly organized, a good communicator, and have the talent to inspire teams.
This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday daytime and possible evening hours.
Requirements Preferred:
· High school diploma or relevant certification preferred
· A minimum of 2 years of dental administration experience preferred but not required
· Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated dedication to delivering excellent customer service
· Friendly, professional, and highly organized
· Strong computer literacy
· Ability to speak Spanish is beneficial but not required
Salary: $17-20 per hour, depending on experience.
