Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures
- Manage guest relations by providing friendly service, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
