Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server/Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience in fine dining, food service, and hospitality is preferred, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, customer relations, and sales within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures
• Manage guest relations by providing friendly service, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $7.50 - $8.50 per hour
