Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Cameron, Texas, is looking for Extrusion Operators with a proven track record to join our team.

Summary:
Extrusion Operator is responsible for running extrusion machines, packing and moving pipe to storage location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Starting up extruder, monitoring material flow, making adjustments to extruder and downstream equipment as needed.
- Inspecting and identifying poor quality pipe using micrometer, pie tape, etc.
- Packing pipe per standards with strapping tool, weighing pipe and moving to designated storage area with forklift.
- Keeping work area up to 5S housekeeping standards including operating sweeper as necessary.
- Responsible for performing minor repairs on pipe racks, printers, etc.
- Assisting set-up instructor as necessary.
- Assisting Tool & Die and Maintenance personnel in repair of equipment.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work 12 hour, night shift
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test
- Computer and mechanical ability preferred
