What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist, Preschool position at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools?
School Psychologist (SP)--This position is an itinerant position serving preschool students in community child development centers. The SP will report directly to the EC Department. The SP will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to attend meetings and conduct evaluations for preschool students with suspected disabilities. The SP will be expected to complete diagnostic reports and other documentation in a timely manner. The SP may provide social-emotional and other developmental interventions during the identification process. Prioritizing activities and scheduling services are the responsibility of the SP.
