Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site teaching position located in Detroit, MI. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the school’s classical education philosophy. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive lesson plans, facilitating classroom instruction, evaluating and assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with staff and communication with students and families are integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching to create structured, engaging, and educational content for students.
- Strong skills in Communication and Education to effectively share knowledge and build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in Training to guide and mentor students, adapting to various learning needs and styles.
- Passion for classical education and a commitment to fostering academic curiosity and personal growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required. A teaching certification and experience with K-8 students are highly preferred.
