Digital Designer, Greensboro Swarm

The Digital Designer is responsible for creating compelling visual content that elevates the Greensboro Swarm brand across digital, social, print, and in-arena platforms. This role produces graphics, motion graphics, photography, video, and other creative assets that engage fans, support revenue-generating initiatives, and enhance the overall game-day experience. Working collaboratively across marketing, partnerships, communications, and basketball operations, the Digital Designer helps ensure a consistent and innovative visual identity for the organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Create engaging multimedia content for social media platforms, including short-form video, motion graphics, photography, and digital storytelling.
• Produce motion graphics and animations for videoboards, LED displays, and digital campaigns.
• Produce, edit, and deliver photo and video content across digital, social, and in-arena platforms.
• Develop graphics supporting ticket sales, corporate partnerships, merchandise, community relations, and basketball operations.
• Maintain brand standards across all creative materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, social media, communications, and partnership teams to execute integrated campaigns.
• React quickly to create timely graphics for roster moves, breaking news, milestones, and promotions.
• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries.
• Stay current on design trends, social media best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
• Assist with other creative and marketing initiatives as assigned.
• Support game-day creative production by producing and delivering timely graphics, photography, and video content under tight deadlines.
  
  

Required Skills, Experience, And Abilities

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience; sports or entertainment experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom is preferred.
• Or Experience creating multimedia content through photography, videography, motion graphics, animation, and post-production editing is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and video production workflows.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, digital design, and social media content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and Greensboro Swarm home games and special events. Work environment, and deliver work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and all home games
