Position Summary
The Voter Registration Coordinator is responsible for processing voter registration activity accurately and efficiently while providing professional customer service to the public. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple systems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Process voter registration applications, updates, and related records in accordance with Florida election law and office procedures
· Accurately enter, review, and maintain voter data across multiple databases
· Handle sensitive and confidential voter information with discretion and professionalism
· Respond to voter inquiries by phone, in person, and in writing
· Provide courteous, clear, and timely customer service to voters and the public
· Maintain organized records and meet productivity and accuracy standards
· Manage competing priorities and deadlines, particularly during peak election periods
· Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations
· Other election related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
· Must be a registered voter in the State of Florida
· Must have your own vehicle and valid Drivers License
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Demonstrated ability to work with multiple databases and computer systems
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-stress situations
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in elections administration, public service, or government operations
· Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
· Familiarity with voter registration systems or database management
Work Environment
This position involves frequent interaction with the public, routine use of computers and phones, and extended periods of detailed data review. Workload may increase significantly during election cycles.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
