What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Charlies?
We are currently seeking a prep cook for a part time or full time position.
Prep cook experience required!
We are a very fast paced and team oriented restaurant located in Spencer, MA, looking for a hard working, reliable, person with a positive attitude to add to our team. REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knife skills.
- Ability to cook from scratch in a high volume atmosphere.
- Cook almost everything from scratch while following established recipes.
- Must be able to lift, bend, climb stairs, lift a minimum of 50lbs, and spend long hours on your feet.
Charlie’s Diner Bar & Grill is a family run business that has been thriving for almost 70 years. We strive to serve our customers better each day. We started as a 30 seat diner serving breakfast and lunch; over the last ten years the demand for more has kept us growing. In the summer of 2011 we opened an additional dining room that seats another 100 patrons. Over time we out grew that as well and in 2018 we added 160 seats (100 of which is a function room) and we are looking for a motivated individual to add to our team.
