What We Offer
The Schedule: 7:30am start time, Tuesday/Saturday off
The Role: This position supports quality control (QC) and inventory control activities within the warehouse environment. The primary objective is to ensure products are properly stored, inventory levels are accurately maintained, and customer demand can be met efficiently. Quality control responsibilities include inspecting inbound and outbound product to verify compliance with company quality and dating standards. This role works closely with Receiving to identify and address quality concerns with incoming product and collaborates with Purchasing to resolve quality‑related issues.

Essential Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)
- Inspect inbound and outbound inventory to ensure quality, dating, and storage standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and product condition to support customer demand and reduce loss
- Walk warehouse and cold‑storage areas multiple times daily to assess product quality and rotation
- Partner with warehouse, receiving, buying, sales, and operations teams to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Support internal and external quality audits and certification requirements
- Analyze quality and inventory trends and report findings to management
- Help drive continuous improvement through accurate data, strong communication, and practical problem‑solving
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Ability to work in refrigerated environment, 35-45 degrees
- Three (3) to five (5) years of produce industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out projects with defined objectives and outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately with numbers and data.
- Effective communication and relationship‑building skills; ability to work productively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated good judgment, including awareness of the financial and operational impact of decisions.
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity and conduct work in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with strong emphasis on Excel.
