The Role
We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.
Essential Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Shred cardboard materials for use as packaging
- Stacking and storing pallets
- Lifting repetitively up to 50lbs
- Keeps company grounds free of litter and debris
- Sweep and maintain warehouse clutter free
- Accompanies drivers to help unload freight at customer locations
- Open to learning new things
- Complies with Company safety procedures in the workplace
- other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to work as a team member-works as a co-worker
- Communicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to solve routine problems and solve basic math
- Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
- Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary
- Riding pallet Jack experience preferred, not required
