CKACS Job Description: 5th Grade Teacher Based on the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) Position Summary Teachers at Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where all students can succeed. They teach core subjects, English language, arts, math, science, and social studies, aligned with California State standards, while working with Armenian language teachers to include Armenian culture and values in daily learning. Teachers connect lessons to students’ backgrounds and real-life experiences, use a variety of teaching tools and assessments, and support positive behavior. They reflect on their teaching, work closely with families and colleagues, and model integrity and professionalism in all they do. Why CKACS?
