Job Title: Store Associate – Key Holder

Reports To: Charlie Hustle Retail Store Manager

Job Type: Part-time (15-28 hours a week)

Job Location: Overland Park, KS – Oak Park Mall

Role Summary:
Trusted team member responsible for opening/closing and running shifts independently when needed.

• Reliability and accountability
• Store operations during solo or low-coverage shifts
• Maintaining standards without direct supervision

· Ability to generate sales, drive add-ons, and build relationships with customers

• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business

Core Responsibilities:

• Open and/or close the store independently
• Follow all opening and closing procedures
• Maintain store standards (cleanliness, folding, restocking)
• Handle customer interactions and basic problem-solving
• Ensure safety and security of store when working alone
• Communicate any issues to Assistant Manager or Store Manager
• Be able to speak to the history, core values, and mission of Charlie Hustle
• Perform all duties as assigned
• Ensures store security and loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor and addressing suspicious activity appropriately

In-Store Expectations:

• Confident working independently
• Lead the store during shifts when management is not present
• Keep store organized and recovered at all times
• Prioritize customer experience even when alone
• Make good judgment calls when issues arise
• Arrive on time and ready to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift

Qualifications:

· Retail experience preferred

· Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy

· Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

· Strong attention to detail and organization

· Comfortable opening and closing the store

· Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting. In order to best service our customers, stores and vendors, all employees must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation. During certain busy times, all employees are expected to help fulfillment. Fulfillment may entail frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
