What You'll Do
- Lead a team of dedicated professionals, including front-of-house staff, kitchen staff, and administrative personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction by personally engaging with guests, resolving any issues, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience from start to finish.
- Assist with all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, ordering, coordinating with the catering manager with caterings, and development to maintain a high-performing team.
- Implement and enforce high operational standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality guidelines, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability, including monitoring food and beverage costs, labor expenses, and overall budget.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and maintain an innovative and seasonally inspired menu, ensuring consistently exceptional dining experiences.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and vendors, ensuring the highest quality ingredients are sourced while negotiating favorable terms.
- Help develop, maintain, and evolve the beverage program. While also assisting in coming up with drink specials.
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and drive repeat business, utilizing both traditional and digital channels.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights on performance, financials, and operational metrics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost control.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Knowledge of industry trends, culinary innovations, and local market dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
