What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Member position at Charleys Philly Steaks?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the Aloha POS system
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards and recipes
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Clear tables, clean dishes, and reset tables for the next customer
- Follow all food safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe handling of food
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order totals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to learn and operate the Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order totals
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
