Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience at the bar or lounge.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage station.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (Micros), and billing accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, beverage preparation, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on catering or banquet events to provide seamless service during large functions or special occasions.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or hotel environments, with excellent serving skills.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management accurately.
- Experience in banquet service or catering environments is highly desirable for supporting large events or functions.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or nightclub operations can be an added advantage for creating specialty drinks or managing high-volume nights.
