Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-service setting.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
• Assist with food handling, including stocking ingredients, bussing tables, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and cash transactions.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on sales and upselling techniques.
