Enhancement Manager Charleston Grounds Management | North Charleston, SC
Charleston Grounds Management is a leader in Commercial Landscape Maintenance, Enhancements, Irrigation, Chemical, and Aquatic Services across the Charleston area. We are seeking an experienced Enhancement Manager to provide strong field leadership while managing daily operations across multiple service divisions.
This role is designed for a leader who is hands-on in the field and capable of managing scheduling, coordination, training, and communication responsibilities. The Enhancement Manager ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday–Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Location: North Charleston, South Carolina branch
- Occasional extended hours may be required based on workload and seasonal demands
Position Summary:
The Enhancement Manager oversees enhancement and specialty service divisions, leads crews in the field, performs daily site inspections, trains teams on-site, manages annual flower programs, and supports sales efforts for aquatic and irrigation services.
Divisions Overseen:
- Landscape Enhancements (drainage, plantings, hard pruning etc.)
- Annual Flowers (seasonal installs and rotations)
- Irrigation Repair
- Chemical Applications
- Aquatic Services
- Subcontracted Services (pine straw, mulch, tree work)
Primary Responsibilities and Job Expectations:
- Lead and participate in daily morning huddles and safety stretches
- Provide on-site leadership by working alongside crews as needed
- Perform daily site inspections to verify quality, safety, and scope compliance
- Deliver on-site training and coaching to crews and foremen
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of annual flower installations
- Coordinate scheduling and execution of enhancement and specialty services
- Manage subcontractors and verify work meets company standards
- Communicate with Account Managers and operations leadership
- Support and perform sales of aquatic and irrigation services as needed
- Utilize Aspire Landscape Software for scheduling, job tracking, communication, and reporting
- Handle management duties including scheduling, planning, follow-up, and reporting
- Promote professionalism, accountability, and safety across all job sites
Qualifications and What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial landscaping or related field operations
- Strong hands-on knowledge of enhancements, annual flowers, irrigation repair, chemical and aquatic services
- Personality Test (Winslow) Required for position alignment
- Experience using Aspire Landscape Software preferred
- Proven ability to lead and train crews in the field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license required (must be able to be insured)
