Pet Technician/Receptionist at Charleston Dog House

Charleston Dog House in North Charleston, SC is looking for a Pet technician/Receptionist to join our team. We are located at 2360 Air Park Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. MUST LOVE DOGS!

Responsibilities

AS A PET TECHNICIAN:

• Supervising daycare to make sure all dogs are playing safely, cleaning up the yards while out in daycare.
• Walking all of the dogs who don't do daycare and cleaning their kennels.
• Laundry, dishes, kennel cleaning, and yard scrubbing.
• Making sure all daily tasks are being done to the best of your ability.

AS A RECEPTIONIST:

• Making sure the business is being opened on time when a Manager is not scheduled for the day.
• Answering the business phone, answering all emails, and putting in reservations on Gingr.
• Assuring that all kennels have been cleaned, all dogs have been fed properly, and all dogs have full/clean water bowls. Properly administering medications (pills, eye drops, NO injections.)
• Making sure that all tasks for the day have been completed, and leaving the facility in a satisfactory condition.
• Checking in/out all dogs and handling all cash/credit card payments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older to apply.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work split shifts (7-12, go on break from 12-3, and return from 3-7)
• Must be a team player, and want to build the team up in any way that you can.
• Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time, and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must love the dogs <3
