Essential Functions
- Process claims checks, including printing, matching Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to specific checks, and mailing per client instructions
- Provide related reports and positive pay files for claims payments where required
- Copy, scan and electronically image claim documents
- Provide support to claims adjusters by mailing out letters and other documentation as directed
- Deliver customer service to clients, providers & claimants by answering phone calls
- Perform additional operational support tasks to assist with claims handling and workflow
- Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills of 8,000 keystrokes with a 5% or below error rate
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment under general management direction to complete all assignments
- Good communication and telephone skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple task
- Prompt and regular attendance to pre-approved office schedule
