This is a full-time, on-site role located in Burlington, VT. As the Vice President, Financial Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Charles Schwab clients, providing personalized financial planning advice and investment strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include conducting financial reviews, identifying client objectives, crafting tailored strategies, and collaborating with other internal teams to deliver a comprehensive client experience. Your role will also involve developing new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with an existing client base.
- Strong Financial Planning and Investment Advisory skills, with an understanding of retirement planning, wealth management, and portfolio analysis
- Client Relationship Management and Business Development expertise, leveraging exceptional interpersonal communication skills to build trust and loyalty
- In-depth knowledge of Financial Products and Services, including mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, and insurance products
- Licenses including Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent/appropriate combination of Series 63 and 65) and relevant financial certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or similar)
- Analytical thinking and decision-making skills to tailor strategies for clients' unique needs
- Ability to meet compliance requirements and adhere to financial regulations
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a financial advisory or consulting role is strongly preferred
