Investment Consultant Role Overview
Schwab's Investment Consultant role provides a chance to learn and grow within our Branch Network, the first step towards becoming a Financial Consultant. As an IC, you'll build a book of business through proactive calls to existing clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a client base through outbound calls and needs-based analysis
- Position appropriate products and solutions for clients
- Collaborate with Financial Consultants to deliver exceptional value and service
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid Series 7 license required
- Valid Series 66 (63/65) license required (obtainable within 120 days)
- Valid Life and Health Insurance license required (obtainable within 120 days)
- CFP certification preferred
- Minimum two years' experience in financial services industry
