Charles Ryan Associates seeks an intern for an account services internship during the summer of 2026.
Internships at CRA offer a chance to work directly with account services staff on real client projects, learn the ins and outs of communications agency life, and add an amazing experience to your resume. Charles Ryan Associates focuses on strategic and smart brand communications – which means you will get to experience a full range of assignments (public relations, advertising, and more) to help you build your skills and better prepare for a variety of future positions.
Time commitment: 30-35 hours per week
Time period: Summer 2026, exact dates between May and August to be determined with candidates.
Compensation: This is a paid hourly internship.
Qualifications
- Should be a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ideally studying marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, or a related field
- Genuine interest in marketing and branding, social media, and integrated communications strategy
- A strong desire to learn and the ability to take on different responsibilities each day
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Preference to candidates located near Charleston, WV, or Richmond, VA, for the given time period
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and proofing content for websites, social media, and other channels
- Review and assess industry trends, conduct market research
- Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions
- Support campaign planning and execution
- Attend meetings
- Build relationships with internal teams
- Other projects as assigned
