Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves long-haul transportation of Rice and MBM, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle unloading and loading of hopper bottom trailers
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer units over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Safely load and unload freight
- Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with owner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck interior and exterior.
- Handle trailers Hopper Bottoms
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving with a focus on over-the-road routes preferred.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with Hopper bottoms.
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing routes and schedules.

Projected Total Compensation: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week
