Charles Gabus Ford is seeking a Service Technician who will provide our customers with exceptional service, has a strong background in automotives, and works well in a team. Ford makes customer service a top priority so candidates must be friendly, have a positive attitude, and maintain a professional appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
- Test drive vehicles and testing components/systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc…)
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Sign on bonus:
- $500 after 30 days
- Additional $500 after 60 days
Requirements:
- Ford Master Certified Tech Requirements
- ASE Certification
- Basic Computer skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Have a valid Iowa Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Will submit to a drug and background screening prior to employment
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
