What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lower School Judaic Studies and Hebrew Language Teacher position at Charles E Smith Jewish Day School?
This position will require instruction in Judaic language arts and various other disciplines of Jewish learning and teaching and will require an individual who demonstrates a passion for education and a palpable love for and warmth with children while instructing students in the curricular areas of Torah, Hagim/Jewish Festivals, and T’filah/Prayer.

- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education.
- (or 90-hour MSDE course for Junior K candidates) or a related field required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful, formal lead-teaching experience in a public or independent school.
