Job Overview
Charles Campbell Construction is a Dalton, GA contractor that works on commercial and multi-unit projects across the Southeast. We’re looking for a hands-on project manager to run our jobsites and keep them on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the crew on site, assigning daily tasks and making sure work is done safely and to quality standards
- Build the job schedule and make sure deadlines and milestone dates are met
- Send a daily or weekly progress report with photos
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries so work isn’t held up
- Turn in all tickets, receipts and invoices weekly
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, owners and building management
- Walk the job regularly, keep a punch list and make sure the work is finished and signed off
- Document change orders and extra work
- Follow safety rules and keep the jobsite clean and organized
- Solve problems on site and keep the office updated
Requirements
- Willingness to travel to jobsites in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and the Carolinas, including overnight stays
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to read plans and understand scope of work
- Strong organization, scheduling and communication skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, email and reports
- Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic
- Able to pass a background check [and drug screen]
