Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our event operations, you will help create memorable experiences for our guests. This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during events.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support event coordinators in executing event plans, including managing guest registration and ticketing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.
- - Ensure completion of Sign-in Sheet, with first and last name, time in and time out.
- Complete the opening and closing procedures ensuring the building is secure and ready for the day's events.
- Complete the staff communication log with any issues or happenings during your shift.
- Help with security of the building and grounds by monitoring the security cameras and making rounds
- Unlocking building as needed and preparing facility and/or grounds for arrival of client.
- Turn on lights, AC or heat, adjust windows, as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in event staffing or hospitality is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- A team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Shift Variable: 4-10 hours (e.g., 4:00pm-10:30pm) shift; Sat &/or Sun; hours may vary, could end early, some events end at 11 which would require and end shift at 11:30pm (lock up). We are currently looking for someone who is available on Saturdays (mostly mornings).
