New Business Sales Manager is a full-cycle, new business hunter responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing nonprofit organizations with strong ties to the entertainment industry.
This role owns the entire top-of-funnel process — from outbound prospecting and discovery to negotiation and contract execution. Success is defined by new logo acquisition, revenue generation, and disciplined pipeline management.
This is not an account management role. Once partnerships are closed, accounts transition to a dedicated Partnerships Account Manager for long-term growth and retention.
- Identify and research high-potential nonprofit prospects within the entertainment ecosystem
- Execute high-quality outbound outreach across multiple channels
- Conduct discovery calls and strategic fundraising consultations
- Present Charitybuzz’s value proposition in a consultative, revenue-driven manner
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements
- Consistently meet or exceed new revenue and new logo targets
- Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline
- Track activity, conversion, and forecasting in Salesforce
- Maintain strong sales hygiene and CRM accuracy
- Manage deal cycles with urgency and follow-through
- Develop relationships within the entertainment and celebrity nonprofit space
- Attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities as appropriate
- Build credibility with executive directors, development teams, boards, and talent-adjacent stakeholders
- Partner closely with a dedicated Partnerships Account Manager
- Ensure seamless transition post-close
- Set proper expectations during the sales cycle to support long-term success
What We’re Looking For- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment
- Experience in partnerships, business development, or marketplace-driven revenue models strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems to manage pipeline and activity
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Commercial instinct and comfort operating in a metrics-driven culture
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to work in-office 4 days per week to support collaboration and team momentum
- Annual Base Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
- Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $110,000
- Uncapped commission, paid quarterly based on revenue performance
