Pay Rate: $35.41 per hour
Position Title: Registered Nurse
Reports To: Owners
Position Summary:
The registered nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in a primary care setting under the direction of the provider. The RN ensures high-quality, compassionate care that promotes wellness and patient education in accordance with practice policies and state regulations. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Phone triage, ER triage
- Vaccine management for clinic
- Med stock supplies (lidocaine/epi/toradol-and logging meds used)
- Administration of vaccines
- Botox (eventually- 4 months)
- IV Infusions (eventually 4 months)
- Rooming/med reconciliation
- Managing incoming medical fax/sig
- Triage of patient questions
- Maintain license-ongoing education
- Point of care labs (rapid tests)
- Lab collection (work flow-discuss lab corps)
- Print lab orders for patient
- Genetic testing orders/SIBO/Food Sensitivity testing
- Prior auth ( depending on who works front)
- Checking HM preorder urine creatinine, optometrist
- Morning check in ( rotate first hour of the day)
- Procedure prep
- Room Turnover
- Team Point Person
Required Qualifications:
- Current Montana RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, ideally in primary care or outpatient medicine.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-relations skills.
- Prior primary care or outpatient experience preferred.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Use of computer, telephone, and standard office equipment.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (files, office supplies, etc.).
