Detailer

Position Summary

• Chariots for Hire is seeking a Part-time Detailer for our headquarters in Sterling, VA. This position requires an individual to clean all of our vehicles (from limousines to motorcoach buses) to company standards inside and out. The individual will be required to follow directions, work together with other detailers, and keep an eye on dispatch to see what vehicles need to be serviced.

Job Details

• Pay: $16/hr
• Friday-Sunday: 12pm-9pm. *Flexible on weekday start times and if you want to work more days*
• Must be able to drive large vehicles on company lot
• Commission: 15% on Retail Detailing
• Location: Sterling, VA

Responsibilities and Duties

• Move all types of vehicles throughout the lot in order to be cleaned.
• Detail and clean every vehicle up to company standards.
• Clean interior and exterior windows.
• Clean engine and engine compartment.
• Manage dumping station.
• Operate all equipment and tools in a safe and secure manner
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.

• Ability to move small and large vehicles on the lot, no public sheet driving

• Manages and correctly uses time off per personnel guidelines. Schedules paid time off (PTO) and all overtime with advance notice with supervisor approval. Except for illness or matters of urgency, all PTO is scheduled.
• Calls in promptly to dispatch by scheduled start time to advise of absence (Need at least 2 hour window)
• Consistently punctual; meets time commitments and deadlines with minimal need for supervisory follow-up
