exceptional culinary offerings create the perfect setting for every occasion. We’re looking for a
high-energy, relationship-driven Sales Manager to build our client base and help Chariot become a
top destination for events in North Jersey.
Position Overview
As our Sales Manager, you will be the face of Chariot, responsible for generating bookings, building
partnerships, and ensuring an outstanding client experience from first inquiry to final event. You’ll
develop relationships with local businesses, wedding planners, and corporate clients while managing
sales goals and growing revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to maximize bookings for weddings, corporate events, and
social functions.
- Respond to inquiries, schedule venue tours, and close contracts.
- Build and maintain relationships with planners, vendors, and community partners.
- Create promotional partnerships and attend networking events or expos to increase visibility.
- Maintain CRM records and follow up consistently to drive repeat and referral business.
- Collaborate with management and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Track monthly sales reports and forecast bookings.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality, catering, or event venues.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with grace under pressure.
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (knowledge of Caterease or Tripleseat a plus).
- Professional, polished presence with excellent local networking skills.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $95,000
