Job Description
Summary of Position:
Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, landscaping or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; machining; carpentry; plumbing; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Apply knowledge and proper technique of building operation systems such as hvac, security/sprinkler systems, fire alarms, plumbing, heating, electrical and any other related setup to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and or repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Repair equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Respond to emergency situations under any adverse working conditions and make informed and accurate decisions
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
- Requires the use of hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, power tools, landscaping/lawn equipment, company vehicles or recreational vehicles.
- Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers
- Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
- Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
- Record type, cost and nature of maintenance or repair work
- Report to Supervisor any issues/concerns/shortcomings
- Follow Job related safety regulations as prescribed by training guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
