Apartment Complex Housekeeper
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming apartment community. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning the leasing office, model apartments, vacant units, and shared amenity areas while providing professional and courteous service to residents, guests, and property staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the leasing office, model apartments, and vacant units.
- Prepare apartment interiors for new residents by completing cleaning and basic make-ready duties.
- Clean laundry rooms, fitness centers, mailrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, clean windows, and remove trash.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed.
- Walk the property and promptly report safety hazards, damage, maintenance concerns, or liability issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Complete assigned cleaning schedules efficiently and to property-management standards.
- Assist supervisors and property staff with additional duties needed to support daily operations.
- Represent the apartment community professionally through dependable attendance, appropriate dress, and respectful behavior.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or apartment-cleaning experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds with required safety equipment.
- Must maintain a professional attitude when interacting with residents, guests, and staff.
