What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Charcuterie Artisans?
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this mid-level position, you will support finance operation by assisting with cash management, liquidity forecasting, monthly close and financial reporting. This role is ideal for seasoned professional who is eager to learn and be key player in transition to live month close cycle. This is a hybrid role, 4 days in Oakland, RI office is required.
\n- Lead on the daily cash reconciliation and address the variance the same day.
- Support the preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable are recorded properly.
- Record payroll and reconcile related balance sheet accounts weekly.
- Own general ledger entries & assigned reconciliations.
- Serve as backup for AR and AP team as needed.
- Assist with various audits.
- Other ad-hoc projects/tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Sound knowledge of GAAP.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
