We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN to support our behavioral health and addiction treatment team in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health LPN assists providers and nursing staff in delivering psychiatric and behavioral health services to adult clients. Responsibilities include medication support, client coordination, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with psychiatric and behavioral health nursing services
• Obtain vital signs and complete nursing assessments as directed
• Administer injection medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
• Perform urine screenings and urine pregnancy screenings. Complete vital checks, administer ECGs and breathalyzers.
• Coordinate medication refills and prior authorizations
• Assist clients with filling medication organizer/planner containers
• Document services accurately and timely within the electronic medical record
• Communicate effectively with psychiatrists, counselors, case managers, pharmacies, and outside providers
• Support clients with education regarding medications, treatment plans, and wellness goals
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with scheduling, client follow-up, and other clinical support duties as needed
• Assist with front office operations
• Provide community psychiatric support and substance use disorder case management.
• Participate in team meetings and treatment planning

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, addiction treatment, or community mental health preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records preferred
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach to care
