In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting and evolving our digital brand and visual identity that resonates with a diverse user base, and realizing it through digital experiences and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the Character.ai brand identity across all touchpoints, consumer product interfaces and digital marketing and social surfaces and materials.
- Design captivating web experiences, interactive elements, and digital assets that bring our AI capabilities and characters to life
- Create and articulate a creative vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams - including both product and marketing, key stakeholders and partners to execute and implement a cohesive visual narrative.
- Lead the evolution of brand guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across all channels
- Contribute to marketing and growth strategies by designing innovative, eye-catching assets
- 5 years of experience in brand design, with a focus on digital and interactive design in an agency or fast growing tech company setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills and a keen eye for typography, color, and composition
- Experience and proficiency with motion and interactive design, 3D design, UI/UX, illustration, and design systems
- Expertise in designing for web and mobile platforms
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to sell your ideas and gather buy-in.
- You’ve taken a brand from 0 to 1 not once, but many times.
- Are excited about AI and its potential to transform user experiences and how we interact with technology
- You are a maker and craftsperson and have a passion for pushing for the details
- You study successful brands and have intuition on why or how they came to be successful
- Love to experiment with new design techniques, tools, and technologies
- Can balance creativity with data-driven decision making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Are a natural collaborator who can work effectively with diverse teams
- Have a growth mindset and are always eager to learn and improve your craft
