Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fine Dining Room Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and cocktail/bar service in a fine dining environment while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Suggestive sell menu items and daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout all service processes.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy service periods.
- Sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Previous fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations in the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including cash handling responsibilities.
