Duties
- Lead and supervise morning food preparation activities, ensuring all recipes and standards are consistently met with precision and enthusiasm
- Manage staff training and development, providing coaching on food safety, proper handling, cooking techniques.
- Oversee inventory control processes including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness
- Coordinate with management on shift planning, staffing levels, and operational needs to guarantee efficient service delivery
- Monitor cash handling procedures during shift changes and ensure accurate record-keeping for financial transactions
- Support fine dining or casual dining service standards by supervising food production quality and presentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety protocols, and food industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a team-oriented environment
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management preferred; experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
