Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to meet quality standards.
- Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public areas.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by adhering to cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Support team efforts during busy periods or special events by stepping into housekeeping management roles when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and industrial cleaning tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness across multiple areas.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
