PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Come work for Chappell Supply and Equipment as Regional Sales Rep contacting current and potential customers, in person, via email and phone, in an assigned region of the state of Oklahoma. You will earn an annual base salary of $40,000, as well as uncapped commission on gross profit, selling industrial cleaning equipment, pressure washers, hydraulic hoses, water treatment systems and various related products. On-the-job, in-house training will provide knowledge to understand and demonstrate the vast uses for products sold.
This position provides a company vehicle, no overnight travel, iPad and cell phone, paid time off, health benefits, 401k retirement plan with employer match, company paid life and disability insurance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with the public to promote and sell all products
- Learn about industrial cleaning equipment, parts and products
- Become informed about product use through in-house training
- Follow through with commitments and ensure customer satisfaction
- Be able to understand and demonstrate the vast uses for products sold
- Be able to close business and meet sales goals
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Verifiable B2B sales experience of 3-5 years, and a stable work history
- Familiar with accounting software for placing and tracking order
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for demonstrations of equipment
- Clean driving record
- Be a self-starter
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information
- Have the ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
- Ability to complete sale orders and routine forms on the computer as well as conduct routine oral communication in person or over the phone
- Be able make informal presentations inside and/or outside the company
- Have the ability to regularly demonstrate how pressure washers work
- Be able to frequently move and utilize soap, pressure washers, and related equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Be able to coordinate movement of the fingers and hands to grasp, move or assemble pressure washer parts and have the adequate dexterity and strength to complete tasks.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
- Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes
