SUMMARY:
Provide a safe and clean living facility. For all locations as needed - Emergency after hours work as needed - Shift/schedule may change as needed. |
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and disinfects restrooms, dormitories and common areas daily
- Maintain all floors by stripping, polishing and waxing periodically. Clean all carpets in the facility
- Painting and repairing around the facility
- Report needed repairs to supervisor
- Distribute housekeeping supplies and proper dilutions of supplies.
- Supervise the proper disposal of garbage
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in general maintenance and/or housekeeping.
- G.E.D or High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computer, Outlook, MS Word, Excel preferred, and paper work as needed.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Ability to be professional, flexible, respectful, and calm.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Must have a Florida State Driver’s License with “safe driver” classification.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literate.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or English and Creole preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand.

- Frequently required to sit.
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Frequently required to, bend, stoop, or kneel.
