Commercial Real Estate Assistant Property Management
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Property Management professional with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in Commercial Real Estate Management and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial property management experience, including AP, AR, and CAM reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Yardi (required)
- Hands-on experience with rent collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
- Arizona Real Estate License (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to work closely and effectively with our Accounting team
- Professional phone etiquette and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
- This is an ON-SITE position
- Good Driving record a must
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with assigned Property Managers and Accounting staff on daily operations and special projects
- Coordinate maintenance activities, including obtaining vendor bids for routine service and larger projects
- Enter financial data for monthly reporting and review invoices for accuracy
- Respond to tenant phone calls and emails promptly, providing excellent customer service
- Assist with lease administration, including preparing new leases and renewals
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Support vendor and service contract negotiations
- Manage tenant relations, helping resolve issues and maintain positive relationships
- Perform accurate data entry to update tenant information and maintain records
- Review lease and insurance tickler files monthly and follow up to ensure compliance
- Schedule maintenance requests and assignments for maintenance staff
- Conduct weekly reviews of all work orders for accuracy with the maintenance team
