The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A paralegal certificate or meet the criteria outlined in Business & Professions Code sec. 6450
- 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation before State, Federal, Appellate Courts, and preferably administrative agencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple attorney calendars and active case files efficiently
- Proficiency in Word, WordPerfect, Essential Forms, and Outlook software
- Experience in preparing and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Familiarity with discovery
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
- Experience researching local rules and handling court filings in various counties
