- Perform safety inspections and basic maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges, tire rotations, etc.
- Work alongside a senior technician to learn to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Perform work specified on the repair order under the supervision of an experienced technician.
- Inform the Service Advisor of additional repairs needed, providing an estimate of time needed to complete them.
- Document inspection findings, recommended services, and all work performed.
- Automotive schooling or 6 months of entry-level technician experience at an independent shop or dealership required.
- ASE and/or factory certifications are a plus!
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and efficient with a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
