The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Lead Bathroom Remodeling Technician to manage and execute the on-site construction of our custom bathroom projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a master craftsperson who can not only perform all phases of remodeling with excellence but can also manage timelines, ensure quality control, and communicate effectively with homeowners and project managers. Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Leadership:
- Serve as the lead on-site technician, taking ownership of the successful, timely, and high-quality completion of each assigned bathroom remodel from demolition to completion.
- Perform a wide range of tasks, including (but not limited to): demolition, framing, plumbing rough-in (drain/supply lines), electrical rough-in, drywall/finish, precise material setting (floors, walls, showers), shower system waterproofing, fixture installation (vanities, toilets, faucets, lighting), and trim work.
- Quality & Safety:
- Ensure all work meets company and industry quality standards, including local building codes.
- Implement and maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
- Perform rigorous quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communication & Client Service:
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, maintaining a professional demeanor and clearly communicating daily progress and any potential issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate project logs, time tracking, and material requests/inventories.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to anticipate scheduling conflicts and ensure material arrivals align with the construction timeline.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, with at least 3 years specifically focused on complete bathroom remodeling projects.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level skills in all phases of bathroom remodeling, with an emphasis on the Onyx Collection installation and shower system waterproofing.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a job site independently, direct others, and troubleshoot technical issues in the field.
- Personal Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and possessing excellent problem-solving skills.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
