About the Role
Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe is seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dealership, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for every customer while providing essential support to our team and daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate department or team member
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and provide assistance or direction
- Provide professional, courteous, and helpful customer service
- Log fuel slips and key packets accurately
- Assist management with clerical, administrative, and other day-to-day tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and appropriate coverage
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and courteous personality
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Basic computer skills, including typing, data entry, and Microsoft Office
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience is preferred but not required
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
