Job Responsibilities
- HVAC System Installation – Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems• System Setup & Start-Up – Ensure proper installation and start-up of HVAC systems, including testing equipment to ensure it is functioning optimally• Customer Interaction – Communicate with homeowners to explain installation processes, answer questions, and ensure they are satisfied with the work• Technical Documentation – Use Service Titan software to document work performed, track parts, and update job status to ensure accurate customer records• Compliance & Safety – Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national building codes and regulations; follow safety protocols for all tasks• Product Recommendations – Recommend HVAC products and services that optimize performance, efficiency, and comfort for the homeowner• Collaborate with Team Members – Work closely with other technicians and installers to ensure efficient project completion• Troubleshooting – Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC systems during and after installation
Qualifications
- Experience – 3 years of HVAC installation experience, with a strong understanding of system installations and equipment• Licensing – Valid HVAC or related license in the state of New Jersey is preferred• EPA Certification – EPA Type II or Universal Certification required• Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar software is a plus• Communication Skills – Strong ability to explain HVAC installations and product recommendations clearly to homeowners• Technical Expertise – Skilled in installing HVAC systems and components, including electrical wiring and refrigerant lines• Attention to Detail – Ability to work with precision, ensuring all systems meet industry standards and customer specifications• Customer-Focused – A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with a professional attitude• Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
